With almost 30 years experience in the UK seed industry our “ specialist seedsmen” give you the confidence that will meet or exceed your expectations at all times.

BESPOKE MIXTURES AT IDEALSEED

Unlike mainstream seed suppliers our focus is ensuring all our seed mixtures are “ fit for purpose” and contain varieties/cultivars suited to specific geographical locations, as such each mixture is processed individually selecting varieties from our vast portfolio which are best suited to your seeding environmental location.

FOUNDATION will provide a sward that is exceptionally dense, high yielding and achieve maximum animal performance, improving both milk and meal production. Achieve 70D over a narrow period the mixture is easy to manage and give outstanding ground-cover thus reducing poaching. Late pasture perennial will also provide extended seasonal growth starting very early in the spring and finish late autumn providing at least 3 week more leafy grazing, no early seed heads unlike conventional leys.

Very early season grazing followed by BIG baled silage or hay crop then autumn grazing or a full season of grazing. Cut after grazing this mixture will produce good, conserved fodder for winter feed Timothy/Meadow Fescue, extremely resistant to cold temperatures and provides good late-season growth. The thick bottomed sward structure is obtained by using late perennial ryegrasses, creeping fescues and highly nutritious white clover. This mixture is ideal for upland sheep farming.
